It's not always possible to rebuild your turbocharger, but more often then not it's very likely, and not to mention cost effective to do so - helps reduce unwanted waste metals to boot!
It will come down to the condition of oil ring bore of the turbo bearing housing (main centre housing), and if the bearing housing itself has other damage on the thrust end.

If these are all in serviceable condition, along with turbo shaft wheel and its oil ring groove/slinger, with the compressor wheel then straight forward repairs can commence ... IN MOST CASES THIS IT'S ISSUE!

Never just throw away your turbocharger, until you contact us. Many shops will tell you otherwise and put it in the "too hard basket"

There will be instances where a complete new CHRA build or whole turbocharger will be needed.
